December 8th- Updated the Ron/Draco drabbles page with a few new ones. My completed fics are either posted (anonymously) or not yet posted. January will be full of fic!

December 28th- Posted "That Charm That Can the Strongest Quell" my submission for this year's Bestmates Xmas holiday exchange. Harry/Ron, adult. Email me for the link! Features kilts and a mysterious plaid curse. Rather a romantic tale from yours truly.

January 27th- I've posted my story for the inaugural Ginger Lust prompt-driven fest, moderated by me and co-modded by two lovely friends. I wrote "Cloudscape of Ravens", a non-formulaic (I hope!) post-War fic involving an angry Ron, a not-dead Severus, and OMC Angus. Definitely adult; email me for the link.

I've also created a page for my newest passion, Wraeththu fanfiction and fandom. I really, really didn't think that I'd have any other fandoms, but this one really took me by the scruff and hasn't let go. Go here for the new page with my current work in progress, Maelstrom and Mage, Desire Thine Darkling, a Vaysh/Ashmael gap filler that is probably going to be novel length. This fandom isn't currently a hotbed of new fanfic or activity, but I don't mind. Go to the Wraeththu page for links if you're curious.

February 1st- posted an update to Maelstrom and Mage, Desire Thine Darkling.

February 9th- posted another update to Maelstrom and Mage. I just love writing in this fandom, even if I have a readership of, oh, six people. :P Also added in a birthday R/D drabble for liriaen, a fellow Ron/Draco lover and drabble-writer.

February 12th- posted a 6th update to Maelstrom and Mage. Just am really drawn to this!!

February 20th- posted a 7th update to Maelstrom and Mage. I'm pleased to say I'm getting some lovely feedback from the Wraeththu fanfiction community, even if it is a far more select group than the bohemoth fandoms I've been in.

February 24th- posted an 8th update to Maelstrom and Mage!! Only a couple more and then I'll be heading on to the sequel…
Also, I neglected to mention that I have several stories that have been nominated for this year's Best Mates Awards, for Ron/Harry stories. I'm 'competing' with my buddies Wolfiekins and Callum James. :)

March 2nd- posted a 9th update to Maelstrom and Mage. It's about to get excruciating, emotionally, and stay that way for a while. I hope it's cathartic!

Oh, and I didn't win anything at Bestmates, but I'm surviving. ;)

March 9th- Maelstrom and Mage, Desire Thine Darkling is now complete!! I'm very pleased with it, and even made a soundtrack to go with it. It's a tragedy, and very angsty, but I've had such a marvelous time writing it. I'm already starting to work on the sequel from Vaysh's POV, "Down the Whispering Well." It's received some very positive comments on my LJ; if you choose to read it, please let me know.

March 22nd- I've begun the sequel to Maelstrom and Mage, Down the Whispering Well. It's from Vaysh's POV, and for that reason alone, will rank quite high on the angst-o-meter. But it's a story that should be told. I hope that my Wraeththu audience continues along with me.

Also, I was bid on for The Quidditch Pitch's auction, and will be beginning another angsty story, this one Ron/werewolf!Dean. Haven't started it yet, but now I know what the recipient wants, so the wheels are beginning to turn.

March 28th- I've posted the second installment to "Down the Whispering Well". Go forth and enjoy! Am also now working on the Ron/Dean and another secretive story for Weasley Fest which will dovetail into it. ::rubs hands::

April 6th- Posted the fourth installment to Down the Whispering Well. Posted the third installment a few days ago and forgot to make a note.

April 10th- Down the Whispering Well owns me!!! I posted the fifth installment today.

April 13th- Posted the sixth installment of Down the Whispering Well. Definitely in Wraeththu mode. :)

April 19th- Posted a short Cal/Swift, Wraeththu fic, adult: Passion's Acolyte. Woot! I'll be posting the next DtWW tomorrow, I hope. Also, lookee! I've been acknowledged in Wraeththu fandom!!!

April 27th- Both the seventh and eighth installments of Down the Whispering Well are uploaded. Only a couple more posts before this saga comes to its melancholy end!

April 30th- Posted the 9th installment of DtWW— it will be completed soon.

May 16th- Down the Whispering Well is complete, with Epilogue. And a second soundtrack! If you enjoy it, do let me know. I'm also nearly finished with a Seel/Ashmael fic, set during Wraiths and is rather a rarepair, but still canon.

May 16th- Posted a kind of unexpected fic, Interpret Me the Savage Whirr, a Seel/Ashmael story. Adult, focusing on this relationship which shows up in The Wraiths of Will and Pleasure.

June 4th- For the inaugural monthly challenge at Forever Wraeththu, I wrote Mere Trifles, addressing the theme for the challenge, "Seel, Swift and Thiede". Short vignette about an imagined conversation between Swift and Cowbeb before Seel and Swift's blood-binding.

June 8th- Yet another Wraeththu vignette to sort of come out of nowhere. Quare clausum fregit: Wherefore he broke the close. A continuation of Down the Whispering Well, set two years after the epilogue. PWP, a story of healing for Vaysh. Vaysh/Yazdyar, one of my OCs from the Maelstrom and Mage/DtWW story arc.

FYI— due to some current challenges and changes in my life, I may be on haitus for a while, but hopefully there will still be fic posted soon. Thank you for your understanding. There's still plenty to read now! :)

July 19th- At long last, I've completed the last long story (at least I believe it will be the last!) in my Ron/Draco "Magic Immunity" series, the first story having been posted in January of 2005. Ron and Draco are surprised at the House Ron's nephew Xavier is sorted into, and Ron finds he's at odds with himself when his new French intern fancies him. Angst, passion, possible infidelity, and a generous serving of gratitude. Adult. Email me for the link! It's the first Harry Potter story I've put on my website since January. That said, I did participate in a Weasley-centric LJ fest, so once that reveal goes up, I'll have another one.

August 2nd- I wrote Swooping to Landward, a Wraeththu fic focusing on a rather unexpected liaison between a Froia har and a Colurastes, for my dear friend Rainwish. It's adult, but I've not been locking down my Wraeththu fic, so the link will take you to it. Chithra, a Froia har, finds his world turned upside-down when Eleu, Ahalenia and their son, Lemuel (OCs from "Maelstrom and Mage") show up. A story of love and cultural differences.

August 8th- I participated in the inaugural Weasley Fest endeavor on LiveJournal. I wrote an adult Harry/Charlie for a dear friend, and there's even banner art, displayed below! Email me for the link to the story here, or go to Weasley Fest for all of the fics, including mine.
Summary: Sometimes a person needs to get outside of their usual geography — both physical and emotional — to be able to see the possibility of new lands of the heart.


September 5th- I've added my few Wraeththu drabbles I'd been writing to my Wraeththu page, plus I added a new picture of one of my original characters, Lemuel, who featured in Swooping to Landward. In writing news, I'm working on an early-Wraeththu fic to do with the Sulh, and have joined a Ron/Remus fest, so I need to get busy!

September 18th- I'm posting a new Wraeththu WIP, Reap the Wild Wind, to do with very early-era Sulh from the point of view of Kelp, incepted in the Outer Hebrides. Full of original characters except for Cobweb, the enigmatic and only Sulh who appears in the original Wraeththu trilogy. I wrote a few drabbles for friends for birthdays; they're at my LJ. I'm also grooving on the Ron/Remus, though it won't be posted here until after it appears at the exchange in late October.

September 27th- Posted two sections in Reap the Wild Wind, also a Wraeththu drabble written for my dear Rainwish for her birthday. My Ron/Remus story is finished and being beta'ed, but posting for that isn't until early November. So… I'm starting a Ron/Draco gap-filler within the 'Crown of Rope' universe as a birthday present for sexyscholar. :)
